Teaching

Inspired by a course on didactics at the Freie Universität Berlin, my teaching experiences have amounted to a distinct teaching philosophy. In teaching, I engage with students in collaborative sense making. It begins with sensitizing students for the topic through empirical examples. Then, we try to understand the meaning of a text, its contexts, and why and how it matters for the examples discussed before. It is a student-centered collaboration because student responses and learning experiences are indispensable for this didactical approach.

I started teaching a course on research design. The syllabus is here –> Esguerra SoSe24_Research Design I am happy to chat about the syllabus as I continue to refine this course.
